Welcome to Groove Mints — a dedicated space where I share insights and discoveries in the realms of audio engineering and musical composition. This blog aims to share my thoughts and learnings around music production, including interactive examples ranging from beginner concepts to advanced topics.
A little bit about me; I hold a degree in Music Technology, with a focus on utilizing Ableton Live for music production with Reaper for Mixing. While I will primarily showcase examples within Ableton Live, 90% of the information provided can be easily applied to other Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). Additionally, I've learnt piano from a young age and more recently, I have been delving into singing and guitar playing.
If you're just starting out in music production, it might be helpful to go through the topics in order. This way, you'll get the basics first and build up from there.
